Inauguration of Trung Nam Wind Power Plant
Thứ Bảy, 17/4/2021| 15:19The Trungnam Group put a wind power plant into operation in the communes of Loi Hai and Bac Phong in Thuan Bac District, south-central Ninh Thuan Province, on April 16.

At this time, this is the wind power plant combined with the 204 MW solar power plant (total investment of both plants is more than 10 trillion VND) and forms a combination of renewable solar and wind power which is unique and biggest in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
Trung Nam renewable energy complex is directly connected to the national grid system through Thap Cham 220 kV transformer station, with the total annual output of this energy complex reaching 950 million kWh - 1 billion kWh. The project is implemented to thoroughly grasp Resolution 55 of the Politburo to promote the development of renewable energy and create conditions for private investors to participate in source development and construction of transmission infrastructure.
After more than five years of construction, Trungnam Group has overcome the challenges to complete the third phase of the project. Acknowledgements to great coordination with the world's leading qualified and professional partners such as the Enercon Company (Germany), Sany ... supplying the turbines of the wind power project of the generation of gearless technology with possible advantages of operating with low wind speed from 2-2.5 m/s, wind ability has an average speed of 7.1 m/s (higher than phase 1 is 6.5 m/s). This is the land turbine with the largest capacity in Vietnam today. With the selection of this advanced equipment, the criteria for the area of land occupied is reduced to only 0.14 ha/MW (compared with the prescribed land use rate of less than 0.35 ha/MW), significantly contributing to the efficient use of national resources.
In 2020, Trungnam Group becomes the first private investor in Vietnam to successfully build and put the transformer station and 220/500KV transmission line in combination with the 450 MW Trung Nam Thuan Nam Solar Power Plant into operation.
On this occasion, Trungnam Group also sponsored the program to develop foreign language capacity for teachers in Ninh Thuan province.
