Can Tho attends Busan International Travel Fair
Thứ Ba, 12/10/2021| 11:18The Mekong Delta city of Can Tho attended the Busan International Travel Fair virtually held in Busan city of the Republic of Korea on October 7 - 8 in order to introduce the Vietnamese city’s tourism potential to international friends.

The fair aimed to promote various tourism products from participating countries in an effort to revive global tourism, a sector which has been severely affected by the prolonged impact of the COVID-19 epidemic.
During the event, Vietnamese travel firms provided visitors with publications regarding the potential and strengths of tourism in Can Tho, as well as photos of famous tourist destinations in the city, such as Cai Rang floating market, Ninh Kieu wharf, Phong Dien floating market, and Binh Thuy ancient house.
Nguyen Minh Tuan, deputy director of the Can Tho Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, emphasised that travel firms strived to popularize Can Tho as a safe, friendly, and quality environment among international friends, as well as promoting its unique tourism products via several digital platforms.
He expected that the local firm’s participation in the event would help visitors gain greater insights into the southern city through cultural and historical relic sites, as well as distinctive identities of the Mekong Delta.
