In a letter sent to businesspeople on Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13), Chinh singled out the business community for their significant contributions to Vietnam’s socio-economic development, noting they have helped shape the market economy locally and many of their names have gone beyond the country to rank among the world’s great businesses.
Despite facing many difficulties and challenges, he said businesspeople always show responsibility and solidarity, try to maintain production and at the same time lend a helping hand to the ongoing fight against COVID-19.
The PM also acknowledges the support and companionship of foreign businesses toward Vietnam’s economic development as well as in COVID-19 prevention and control.
“The government will continue to create the most favourable conditions for foreign businesses to invest and do long-term business in Vietnam,” emphasizes the head of the Government.
The PM says the Government will continue to listen and introduce support solutions to help the business community overcome difficulties, develop recovery programmes, and adapt to and control the pandemic in safe and flexible manner.
The government will step up the vaccine strategy to support businesses to quickly restore production and bring life back to normal, he affirms.
